Additional Requirements
  • Age 30 to 40 years
  • Working experience with NGO, and Development Agency on Finance & Accounts and experience in checking bills, vouchers, Book-keeping, and Maintaining different registers.
  • Medium in English (written/verbal)
  • Team management, organizational capacity, and activity planning.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Dynamism – Good report writing ability – Computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bangla and English.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of supply chain, logistics management, procurement ethics, and donor compliance is essential.
  • Good knowledge of Govt. rules and VAT, TAX and customs duty, etc.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and process information into action as to not delay program activities.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Manage and control financial and admin-related activities of the project.
  • Checking bills, vouchers, bookkeeping, and Maintaining different registers.
  • Check and verify bills and provide payments.
  • Verify all types of financial transactions on a random basis
  • Provide other financial support required during the project implementation.
  • Ensure timely and effective follow-up to audit observations and recommendations.
  • Responsible for Employee Leave Management and documentation as per NGO HRP&P.
  • Maintaining project staff leaves documentation and report thereon, do staff counseling and assist any other administrative work of the project.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports and documents as well as taking minutes of the meetings.
  • Manage administrative compliance throughout the organization.
  • Keep updated administrative records of the organization.
  • Providing needful support to HR activities and maintain administrative files & documents.
  • Provide support to HR & Admin regarding the task of editing, typing, mailing, and filing.

2. Post Name: Field Engineer

  • Experience: 7 to 8 years

Education

Diploma in Civil Engineering / Civil / Environment Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities & Context

  • To lead the delivery of overall technical services and provide technical guidance and support to the project’s overall technical issues while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
  • To ensure that the WASH services in the cyclone Remal affected communities managed by NGO Forum are delivered in an efficient, equitable, and accountable manner, according to UNICEF, SPHERE, and national standards.
  • Ensure successful implementation and effective management of the project activities.
  • Assist the Project Coordinator in the overall planning, budgeting, implementation, and monitoring of the project.
  • Technical supervision and cross-checking of construction materials of WASH infrastructure before installation with specifications, drawings, design quality, and quantity.
  • Responsible for feasibility survey, design, prepare the estimation of quantities and cost detailed drawings and other necessary documents of WASH interventions.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and full technical supervision and provide technical inputs to the beneficiaries.
  • Manage construction contracts by providing engineering support during project construction and process contract change orders and design revisions.
  • Perform other relevant duties as required for the project as well as the organization.

3. Post Name: Community Mobilizer

Responsibilities & Context

  1. Assess the needs and resources required for community mobilization-related interventions and plan for an appropriate integrated response.
  2. Assist the technical person for assessment of the need for latrines rehabilitation, Nutrition screening, and social behavior change.
  3. Assist in the implementation of software interventions to address priority on public health risks according to the agreed plan and complementary.
  4. Conduct hygiene sessions among the targeted community following the project result matrix.
  5. Conduct IYCF-E counseling and awareness sessions of caregivers at facilities using the plate and bowls and other job aids.
  6. Conduct interactive sessions, community dialogue, consultation, and meetings with local leaders/groups/stakeholders & schools around lifesaving behaviors, feedback mechanisms, and community engagement.

    5. Experience of at least five years in Community Development or social work.
    6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse cultural settings

Responsibilities & Context

  1. Lead the Community Approaches part of the project for the proper and smooth implementation of the activities as outlined in the project.
  2. Monitoring and follow-up of the community engagement-related activity and Community Feedback and Response Mechanism (CFRM) system.
  3. Monitoring the community’s needs and trends, such as population shifts or changes in Nutrition, WASH, and social behavior change.
  4. Coordinate and closely work with Union Parishad to implement community engagement components and Support WASH Promoters to ensure effective implementation of community engagement activities.
  5. Organize and conduct different training, meetings,s, and workshops with relevant community actors, project stakeholders, GOs, and other project partner staff.
  6. Communicate and develop relationships with the targeted govt. primary schools, relevant govt. education offices, Upazila, and district administration.
  7. Attend various internal and external meetings regarding engineering topics or issues and respond to questions and inquiries from various individuals, groups, and organizations.

Responsibilities & Context

  1. Monitor programme outputs and manage progress against the outcomes defined in the project document.
  2. Lead the project team at Upazila level comprises Community Mobilizer, Community Based Volunteer etc.
  3. Monitor the hygiene session, IYCF-E counselling and awareness sessions, interactive sessions, community dialogue, consultation, meeting with local leaders/groups/stakeholders & schools around lifesaving behaviors, feedback mechanism and community engagement.
  4. Maintain effective liaison/interaction with DHPE, Upazila health care facilities, LGIs, local administration and relevant local government institutions, national and international agencies, NGOs, local stakeholders and other relevant implementing partners of the project.
  5. Facilitate donors to conduct field visits as and when required.
  6. Manage stakeholder expectations and participate in communication activities to inform stakeholders of progress and issues.
