Post Name: Technical Officer
Job Title: Technical Officer- Skills & Opportunities for Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship -SOYEE.
Report to: Project Coordinator, Barguna.
Education
- Masters in any discipline preferably in economics, agribusiness, agriculture, or livestock.
Experience
- 2 to 3 years
Minimum Salary: Tk. 30401 (Monthly)
Additional Requirements
- Age at most 40 years
- At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in food security & livelihood-related projects.
- Experience in vocational education and apprenticeship programs is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to the Field Facilitators for the implementation of field-level interventions.
- Ensure quality of interventions through regular field visits towards the improvement of the socio-economic circumstances of target beneficiaries with a particular focus on skills development, and self/wage employment in decent jobs.
- Monitor and ensure appropriate utilization of budget under the YEE component of the project.
- Prepare and timely submission of reports and necessary documentation on the implementation of YEE activities.
- Build capacity of Field Facilitators on technical aspects of YEE as well as community mobilization.
- Organize and facilitate orientation, training, and workshops for the project.
- Ensure risk assessment and management plan for safeguarding children and young people and its application in all activities under the YEE component.
- Establish and maintain functional and effective linkage with related GOs, NGOs, TVET institutes, MFIs, and other stakeholders.
- Able to device-based data collection & reporting.
- Able to use the computer as MS Office.
- Any other task will be accomplished and assigned by the management.
Compensation & Other Benefits
- Gross Taka 30,401 per month (and yearly salary increment, two festival bonuses per year, etc. as per policy of the organization).
